On my forum I' like to start a combination of news and content sections and forums. The forums are powered by vBulletin. The rest of the site will be using a custom CMS. I'm in the process of migrating that custom stuff over to WordPress, and will cerate a new design for the site.

So far, I've have chosen a good theme for my WP. My next step is to create a matching theme for vBulletin so that the entire site has a seamless, consistent look.

The WordPress theme I'm using is pure, table-less CSS, but I have no delusions of trying to do the same for vBulletin. Mainly I want to get the header, sidebar and footer to look the same as the Wordpress-driven section.

Does anyone have any experience or advice doing this? Anyone interested in helping? Roll Eyes

basically, all you need to do is wrap the forum theme in the blog theme.... header, footer....
then you can start plugging in things where you want them once you get the basic design structure in place...

the blog side bar would no longer be dynamic (without some modification) but you can replace
the blog sidebar content with the forum side content...

let us know if you have specific code questions...
